President Trump and First Lady Melania kicked off their two week Asia trip with a one night stopover in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The pair first greeted fans at the Air Force Base, followed by a meeting with military officers of the Pacific Command. Trump held a brief press conference where he told reporters about how excited he was for his next leg of his Hawaii stop – a visit to the USS Arizona memorial and Pearl Harbor.
“We are going to visit very shortly, Pearl Harbor, which I’ve read about, spoken about, heard about, studied, but I haven’t seen. And that is going to be very exciting for me.”
Trump and Melania arrived at the USS Arizona Memorial, a beautiful tribute to those lives tragically lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
First, the pair paid tribute to those military heroes with by dedicating a wreath for the memorial and then observed a moment of silence. They then moved to the open water area where they threw rose petals into the water in a touching moment.
President Trump is clearly moved by being in this incredible place and paying respects to our fallen heroes. Are you proud of the job Trump is doing?
We need to SHARE this with the WORLD and show them how wonderful President Trump is!
