Details reveal that Fox News released a statement in which they revealed that the anthem will not be shown live, and despite the cameras always rolling, they will only show the footage if something happens, but not the anthem, all with the goal of avoiding a massive drop of ratings who tune out solely for the reason that they cannot stand the protests.

And while the anthem isn’t usually broadcasted live aside from major events, the networks started showing it since last month, after President Donald Trump stepped forward to publicly address the entire issue with a harsh stance, thus earning the support of millions of outraged people who were tired of seeing disrespect towards their anthem and flag.

The whole situation went calm for a week, with the networks moving off the anthem broadcasts, but the whole thing was once again brought into the spotlight when Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Second Lady Karen walked out of an Indianapolis Colts game this Sunday, when some members of the San Francisco 49-ers took a knee.

The decision not to broadcast the national anthem also comes after a large number of people decided to make their outrage loud and clear, burning seasonal NFL tickets, leaving the stadiums half empty, and tuning out of the game broadcasts on TV.
