Many people have come out to point out that they do not believe the NFL players that are protesting do not have a right to do so. Now, an even more credible person is pointing out that fact.
Famous lawyer Alan Dershowitz told John Catsimatidis on New York’s 970 AM radio station that, despite popular belief by liberals in this country, NFL players do not have a constitutional right to kneel during the national anthem.
“The players are entitled to kneel if the owners allow them to. Now, the owners could say ‘no’ because they players don’t have a First Amendment right in relation to the owners. They only have a First Amendment right in relation to the government.”
Dershowitz said the only thing good that is coming out of this NFL protesting debacle is that at least both sides are being heard, which is not the case for free speech on campuses across the country where liberals are suppressing any speech that disagrees with their views.
“Most college students are just a bunch of selfish spoiled brats when it comes to this issue: ‘Free speech for me but not for thee.’ They are the first ones who want free speech for themselves, but they don’t want free speech for anyone they disagree with. That’s not the way it works. The Constitution doesn’t distinguish between good speech and bad speech.”
The liberals in this country are chocked full of double standards like this and it is time for We the People to take this country BACK before it is too late!
