The mainstream media is always picking up stories like this and describe them wrong.

However, many people forgot the terrible event when Barack Obama insulted 30 Gold Star families.

According to The Federalist Papers, Obama’s history shows his insensitivity towards the feelings of the grieving family members. Back in 2011, one Gold Star mother went against Obama because he asked for reporters to be present when her son’s casket was brought back to the country.

The grieving families asked the media not to show up at the event, but he ignored their demands and brought them anyway. His chance to take a good photo was more significant than the request that the family members had.

Many photos were taken which spread out all around the news, along with a video. Obama even changed the policy which would allow the cameras to attend.

It was reported: “As the Pentagon reviews its policy banning cameras from Dover Air Force Base, sentiment among military families appears to be running against allowing the media to witness the return of caskets from Iraq and Afghanistan.

President Obama and Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said last week that they were reviewing the ban, which has been in place since the first Gulf war in 1991.

Families United for Our Troops and Their Mission, which represents 60,000 families of military personnel, including some who have died, asked its members last week in an e-mail whether they favored keeping the ban or changing it.

From their unscientific survey of about 600 responses, 64 percent say the policy should not be changed; 21 percent say that if the ban is changed, the families should determine media access on a case-by-case basis, and 12 percent say the policy should be changed to allow cameras to photograph the flag-draped caskets.”

According to a survey, only 12 percent accepted the presence of the media without approval of the Gold Star families. However, Obama decided to ignore the demands of 30 families, only to get photos of him saluting the caskets.

However, without any evidence, the Democrats decided to blame Trump for being disrespectful, while forgetting the example of insensitivity given from Obama.
