President Trump spent Thursday evening visiting wounded veteran soldiers at Walter Reed Medical center in Washington DC.
Trump said the reason for his visit was “to wish them a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We love these people.”
After awarding the Purple Heart to 1st Lt. Victor Prato of the 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion for injuries he sustained while deployed in Afghanistan last month, Trump visited with several other wounded soldiers and their families.
One soldier, U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. John Peck and his wife Jessica, visited with Trump for about five minutes discussing upcoming holiday plans.
During their conversation, Sgt. Peck told Trump that he had a surprise that he wanted to show him. Peck turns around in his wheelchair and shows him a giant TRUMP sticker.
President Trump was stunned and immediately said ‘I knew I liked you!” The whole room erupted in laughter and cheers.
Our military heroes know that President Trump 100% supports them and their families. After being forgotten for 8 years by the previous administration, these heroes feel that they finally have a voice again thanks to President Trump!
We need this to go VIRAL and show the world how much our President supports our military!
